Before you look
How to read these photographs
Results pages are easy to flatter. These four rules are how this one is made, so that what you see is what the operation actually does.
01Same light, same distance
Before and after are taken in the same place, at the same distance, under the same lamp. Change the light and you can fake half a result.
02Nothing retouched
No smoothing, no editing. The only change made to any photograph is the mask that hides the eyes of patients who consented to the result but not to being recognised.
03The timing is stated
Each after photograph says when it was taken — one month, nine days, a few hours. Swelling settles for months, so a date without a timing means nothing.
04The same frame, before and after
Before and after are always cropped identically, at the same magnification. Some cases are framed close on the treated area — that is to protect the patient's identity, never to hide a part that did not change.

Photographed on the morning of surgery and again at sixteen days. Where the eye is open, only the iris is masked — the crease, the lash line and the healing incision stay visible. The closed and side views carry no mask at all. Both eyes are shown whole, at the same magnification and the same exposure.

The same four steps for every patient, and the same surgeon at each of them — from the first conversation through to the last follow-up.
We talk first
An honest conversation about what you want changed, what is realistic, and whether surgery is the right answer at all. Some patients are advised not to have it.
We look together
Photographs on a screen, of you — not of somebody else's result. The plan is made in front of you and the risks are gone through in full.
The operation
Performed by Dr. ElKhoury himself, in a private clinic setting. Most procedures let you go home the same day.
You are followed
Seen at every stage afterwards — days, weeks and months — until the result has settled. Recovery is part of the treatment, not an afterthought.
